please tell me those Stars of David are Jewish vampire sparkles
What I have a hard time to believe is that this guy is supposed to be a 200-year old (at least) warlock. Shouldn't he have already met vampires (if there are any)? Shouldn't he know what's a vampire and what isn't? Shouldn't he have ways of finding out and learning? Sources he would know to consult?
Vampires vary a lot by culture and region, and a lot of the different types are ignored in favor of Anne Rice and Hollywood vampires. For example, rokurokubi are technically a type of vampire, as well as jiangshi. In terms of Jewish vampirism, it's more closely related to demons and angels as opposed to the undead. ;^))
Okay, so he has lot to sort through. But isn't he supposed to be an expert on the supernatural? Or is his knowledge more limited to demons he knows?
So he has a wide pool to narrow down. I take it that the expertise required would be in a different avenue than what he is familiar with?
He's very familiar; but like other people (if you can call a creature that's obviously not human a "person"), he's got other business to do like pay bills, taxes, eat pizza.. There's also the constraints of comic page count. ;^c All will be revealed eventually. Can't spoil.
